Dear Valued Guests,
With the recent global health challenges related to COVID-19, we at Trail’s End Resort would like to ensure you that your safety is our top priority. Our goal continues to be to provide each group a welcoming and comfortable vacation. At this time, we are confident that we will still be able to provide the vacation you have come to expect from our resort, with some slight adjustments in place to ensure everyone who visits remains safe and healthy.
Trail’s End Resort already works hard and actually exceeds the current guidelines requested by health officials. Our resort grounds are spacious and open, allowing appropriate space to accommodate social distancing while enjoying our resort offerings. There is no reason at all you can’t make memories by the lake while still following the CDC’s guidelines. Our cabins provide a safe, clean, private space to spend time with your family. Cleanliness in our cabins and across the grounds has always been a priority in our business.
We will be establishing several new measures to help you relax and enjoy your Minnesota vacation, free of worry. These changes will stay in place until social distancing is no longer recommended by the CDC and will be updated appropriately as conditions evolve.
Remote Check-In/Check-Out Option
Beginning in spring 2020, we encourage all guests to complete payment, update reservation details and ask any questions by phone or email. Our phone number is 218-993-2257 and our email is trailsendresort@frontiernet.net. The Restaurant/Lodge will also remain open and sanitized for those who wish to visit us in person.
Delivery Service
This season, we will offer complimentary delivery service to our guests in the cabins and campgrounds for items such as food, off-sale liquor, gift shop items, bait and tackle and fire wood. The Restaurant/Lodge will also remain open and sanitized for those who wish to visit us in person.
Sanitization Stations
Disinfectant will be available throughout the resort for guest use. We welcome guests to wipe down community items such as chairs, water toys, canoes, kayaks, oars, lifejackets, door knobs, and other items with disinfectant prior to use. Additionally, our staff will disinfect these surfaces throughout the day.
Housekeeping
We have always taken pride in the cleanliness of our facilities, and we will be going above and beyond during this time to help keep everyone safe and healthy.
Facility Closures
We are closely following the CDC’s guidelines surrounding gatherings and public places. In order to ensure the safety of our guests, our resort’s community gathering areas, including our dining area and patio will likely be closed for the early part of our season. We will not be able to offer any kids programs or activities or social events for our guests based on CDC recommendations.
Additional Measures
Additional sanitation measures will include increased hand washing efforts by all staff and frequent sanitizing of all publicly used surfaces, such as door knobs and shower and restroom facilities. We will remain in close communication with local health authorities and abide by all current standards and recommendations.
Trail’s End Resort is committed to providing you a wonderful vacation experience, even during challenging times. As a small, family-run resort, we truly appreciate your business, and we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs and look forward to seeing you!
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or to request additional information.
Sincerely,
Brian and Jeanne Sorensen and the rest of the Trail’s End Team
